It was another long day of driving, which totals 4 this week, so I think we were both a bit over it!! Bill is champing at the bit as he hasn’t ridden since Saturday!! We drove from Dayton, OH to State College, PA. We crossed over the Ohio river thinking we were going into Pennsylvania and we actually went into West Virginia…bonus state!! Then 15 miles down the road we were in Pennsylvania! It was strange to leave the flat corn fields behind and to be in the green rolling hills of PA. We got to Russ and Sunna’s in time for dinner, then went for a walk down by the river which felt good after a long day in the truck. It was lovely to see them again, especially Esten, who has grown significantly since we last saw him, he’s a big boy for 13! Bill and Russ are going to mountain bike tomorrow.
