Mark, Jason and I rode to the Dragon Today.
I’ve seen pictures from other rides and knew roughly where the dragon was, After all there is a trail called “To the Dragon”, and I have ridden that trail many times before. But I’ve never actually gone to it and I’m lucky Jason was with us since I it was quite the maze of trails. I never would have found it and Mark would never have let me hear the end of it.
What a ride! I don’t think I have seen such a symmetrical elevation chart. The climb back up in the second half of the ride was actually pretty nice, well once we got past all the prickly grabber bushes. I just pulled a thorn out of my arm. The end of the ride was super fast! Did you get any Strava accomplishments?
I did!! I got 4th overall on Shadow Sixteen. I have no idea where the energy came from.
