Vick convinced me that camping in a parking lot may not be very safe so she found this primitive campsite. It did have an outhouse, water, picnic table and fire ring. Best of all it was next to a creek with lovely cold water!
I didn’t realize the urban trails were very close to the camp site so I had to do an early morning ride! Trails are lovely but a little slick right now. I think there must be clay in the soil since it gets like peanut butter when wet. You’ll see in the video I talk about the spider webs. I have never ridden through so many! Absolutely covered in webs and some sipders. I ran across the local trail crew who were clearing some down trees. They assured me that the spiders were not poisonous. ๐ You’ll also see from the video that the AC/DC trail was my favorite. Lots of features, I did not do the wall ride, did I mention that everything was slick and my tires were covered in peanut butter? ๐
Back to camp and a refreshing dip in the creek. There may have been some hootin and hollerin but it felt amazing (Lush for Jamie). Now we are back on the road and heading to Forrest City, AR.
That wall ride looks so sketch! You shoulda done it!
Thanks Mark. Don’t you want me to come back in one piece? ๐
Looks like โthe wall of deathโ in Sturgis

Getting closer.. ๐ It’s day 11 now and we have driven over 2,000 miles.. We will do 6,500 for the whole trip which is coming back as well. so yeah.. I would say we are half way across. ๐
